Requesting Access to Health Care Records

Consumers may request access to or copies of their health care records maintained by Veritas Counseling and Consulting by contacting the practice directly.

Filing a Consumer Complaint

Consumers may file a complaint regarding health care services with the Texas Office of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division.

Effective Date

House Bill 4224 became effective on September 1, 2025. Pursuant to Texas Health and Safety Code §181.105 and House Bill 4224, licensed behavioral health providers are required to provide consumers with clear information regarding access to health care records, regulatory contacts, and the process for filing consumer complaints.
